About Me
I am a lawyer, conflict mediator, and a master's student in Planning and Public Policies at the State University of Ceará (UECE). My professional careers are connected to the Culture of Peace and citizen security. Over the past four years (2021–2024), I have worked at the Secretariat for Citizen Security in Sobral/CE, contributing to the development of actions aimed at preventing violence and mediating conflicts. I currently work at the Public Defender's Office in Sobral/CE as an advisor to the Public Defender, strengthening access to justice and promoting dialogical solutions to conflicts.
My master's research investigates the impacts of legal mechanisms and Culture of Peace policies implemented by the UGP-PV in preventing youth violence in Sobral/CE, with an emphasis on the challenges and possibilities of restorative practices and intersectoral action. This research reflects my commitment to integrated and humanized approaches to conflict management.
I believe that when well managed, conflicts become opportunities to sow positive changes, restore bonds, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. My legal training, combined with practical experience, strengthens my conviction that the Culture of Peace must be transversal to public policies and actions in the justice system.
